Spend the day with Australians Richard Tuohy and Dianna Barrie exploring classic DIY metal toning and dye tinting of 16mm black and white film.
No experience necessary. Don’t wear your best going out dancing clothes!
Richard Tuohy and Dianna Barrie are internationally renowned for their inventive 16mm film-making techniques, both in camera and in darkroom. They travel the world showing their films and sharing their knowledge on the analogue practices of cinema, its apparatus and laboratory procedures, in addition to the creative possibilities that can be explored thanks to this craft work. Such know-how has no frontiers and adapts to the resources of every place they visit, bearing the DIY spirit as their banner.
The workshop will be given in English.
