'L', 'U' and 'X' shapes around the rapidly re-developing Lux stove factory in Brunswick. Filmed on standard 8mm 'quadrascope'.
“I walked a specific route in Brunswick filming in this way: once I had shot one whole side of each roll of film, I would flip the film over in the camera in the usual way, then walk the same circuit again in reverse, doing the same shots as before in the opposite order such that on both sides of the film there should be the same subject. But it was impossible to know whether right way up or upside down was needed as the first frame, so each shot had to be done twice as long as desired such that it could be done both with right way up as the first frame of the sequence, and upside down as a ‘first frame’.”
