Maglana, the creator god, the silent god. He hangs his hammock in the column of the world, Jekuapi. He climbed to the top of the column to defecate, where the world is upright and sits down. His excreta fall down into the deep waters all in one spot. Maglana’s feces piled up and Jupana emerged from the water, the navel of the world... That’s how all of his excreta emerged from the water’s depths. There lies the secret of life.
