“Escaped from a dream close to the ground, these phenomena of sound poetry retreat farther and farther away until they vanish.” Olivier Fouchard
A concise visual and sonic haiku, PTKHO is a transcription of onomatopoeias, which translates the noise of galloping quadrupeds into Mahine Rouhi’s own language. Horses’ hooves rattle along an empty beach in an overlapping, dream-like cadence, created by means of a very precise application of sound effects.
