Removal Day observes an instance of intense physical labour and attempts to reproduce that physicality through sound and image. It shows three men digging the ground and removing rubble. The repetitive and heavy movement of the bodies at work is merged with the weightless haste of video, while the frames of each shot is being removed in a repetitive and rhythmic manner.
