Hochberg was shot during summer and winter 1994 in my hometown Perchtoldsdorf in Austria.
While the title Hochberg (High Mountain) provides the ‘Establishing Shot’ of the location, the film deals with details of landscape and the rapid interaction between seasons, light and color - focused around a 19th century group of sculptures (crucifixion) which is sited on top of the location.
