Tiger Me Bollix was filmed at the request of the three children featured - members of the Irish Traveller (or Gypsy) community. Their actions were self-directed; my camera was at their disposal and became part of the game. The sound-track was recorded while watching the image, using visual rhythm as a key to composition.
