L'oeil sauvage

1998, 16 mm, colour, sound, 14 min.

A film which combines filmed images (in video and Super8) with paint applied directly to the film. The paint comes into play here to translate the vision, the waking dream. It represents the physical trace of an inward voyage, into the imaginary, into memory, affection. The projection slows to a speed of between six and four frames per second, allowing us to go deeper into this dimension where every metamorphosis becomes possible, visible, and even palpable.
